I'm currently reading a Death Note fanfiction....one of the best there are out there, with amazing storytelling, plot twists and hated but interesting cliffhangers.....definitely one of my top 10 favorites....
And the idea of Light and Lawliet meeting in the orphanage before the start of Death Note timeline is niiice @_@....specially the way Quiet tells the story.....all that drama is driving me crazy. After updating even twice a day, every two days and so.......Quiet (the writer) suddenly disappeared...I despaired......it was Weeks, and finally yesterday there was an update...and today too, so I'll take it as a Birthday Present and won't be cross with Quiet....for now...as long as the updates are as they were before "the event"....
